With over 20 years of accounting experience, Pam has developed an extensive background in payroll, bookkeeping, tax return preparation and review, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Since beginning her professional career as a Legal Assistant and Office Manager, Pam’s unparalleled drive led her to become a Partner at Deagle Ames LLC and now a Partner and leader of the Accounting Services team at Harris.
With her impeccable work ethic, calm demeanor, and keen attention to detail, Pam’s experience allows her to quickly solve issues for her clients and within her community. With a proven track record of dependability and problem solving, Pam is well-equipped to help her clients and community navigate tension, confusion (and often panic) associated with difficult issues. In fact, her expertise truly shines when it comes time to deep dive into quarterly payroll paperwork and ensure calculations are done correctly should the IRS start questioning the accuracy of the client’s taxpayer returns. This experience has equipped her for providing leadership and management for the City of Buhl. If you ask Pam why she loves her work, she will quickly say that she has a passion for keeping her clients out of trouble so that they can focus on doing what they love. As a dedicated philanthropist and community member, it is no surprise that Pam has served on school boards, the Buhl Urban Renewal Board, and even finds time to volunteer as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate. Pam also served as the president-elect of the Buhl Rotary Club, and as of January 2022, she was sworn in as the Buhl City Mayor. In addition to being an active community member in Buhl, she also served as a Buhl City Council Member for 16 years since her appointment by former Mayor Barbara Gietzen in 2005. Pam has a passion for travel, stemming from her early childhood as the daughter of an airline worker.
