Salary and Benefits
$25.00 to $30.00 DOE (Hourly); $52,000-$62,400 DOE (Annually)
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-time (40 hours per week), 4.62 hours of PTO per pay period, Bi-weekly pay schedule (26 pay periods)
Full benefits (medical, vision, dental, life, EAP, PERSI)

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the City and make sure everything adds up — literally and figuratively. You’ll:
- Manage and track all City revenues and expenditures
- Monitor cash flow and ensure funds are where they need to be
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support departments as a go-to resource for financial insight
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and daily transactions
- Process payments, deposits, and receipts for City services
- Invest City funds responsibly to maximize their value
- Maintain bond records and assist with financial compliance
- Help develop the annual budget and support the audit process
- Prepare required notices and documentation for City projects
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is dependable, thoughtful, and comfortable working with both numbers and people.
You’ll likely be a great fit if you have:
- A background in accounting, finance, or municipal government
- 3 years of relevant experience preferred (municipal experience is a big plus)
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) public sector finance and regulations
- The ability to manage detailed work with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
- A knack for organization, problem-solving, and staying one step ahead

- Ability to obtain Notary Public certification

Patrol Officer
